Thesis Supervision

I supervise students, mostly from the fields of medicine, biomedical engineering, neuroscience and cognitive sciences. If you are interested in a thesis or an internship in our lab, you can contact me and i’ll gladly consider your application. If you want to learn more about how i supervise, i also can set you up with one of my former students. Feel free to ask. I have supervised theses on

Lectures

Every summer term, i teach “Neuroprosthethics and Intelligent Implants”, and every winter term, i teach “Neuromodulation and Neuroplasticity”. Together with colleagues from our research group we cover the basics of clinical applications, digital signal processing, invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation and brain-computer-interface technology . Places are prioritized for biomedical engineering students, but guest students are possible. If you are interested in joining, i’ll consider your application.

2019 onwards: Neuroprosthetics and Intelligent Implants / Neuromodulation and Neuroplasticity

2013-2019: Neuroprosthetics and Neuromodulation

2013: Bridging the Gap. Introduction to Ethics for Scientists
